King County District Court--Bellevue Electoral District-Position 1

List of Candidates for King County District Court--Bellevue Electoral District-Position 1:

Linda K. JACKE
Linda Jacke is currently a judge in the King County District Court, Bellevue Division. She was appointed to that position in 1992 by the King County Council. Prior to her appointment, Judge Jacke served as a Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for King County. In 1994 she was unanimously elected to the Bellevue judicial position. She has over 25 years of experience in the criminal justice system and has handled thousands of cases involving the issues found in district court.
Judge Jacke currently serves on the Probation Advisory Board for the City of Bellevue and she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Eastside Literacy Council. She is Chair of the Caseload Distribution Committee for all King County District Courts, and during her recent tenure of office she served on the Executive Committee of that court. In 1994 Judge Jacke was the recipient of the King County Washington Women Lawyers' "Special Contribution to the Judiciary" award for her work in district court.
Judge Linda Jacke has widespread support from members of the community and is honored to serve as your judge. She lives in Bellevue with her husband and her son, a student at Chinook Middle School.
