![]() Jan. 16, 2008 Logic and accuracy tests scheduled for presidential primaryKing County Elections will begin a logic and accuracy test on all equipment used to count and process ballots at the polls at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan.29 at the Election Distribution Center located at 1215 East Fir St. in Seattle. Logic and accuracy tests for vote counting equipment, used to tally absentee ballots, will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15 at King County Elections headquarters in Renton. View directions on the Web at https://your.kingcounty.gov/elections/facilities.htm This public test is a standard pre-election procedure and is preformed to ensure that tabulation hardware and software equipment are functioning properly and are accurately programmed for each election. Following the test, all equipment will be locked and sealed until the date of the presidential primary, Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008. |
