Plan to vote in November?
Registration form due Saturday, October 7
To be eligible to vote in the November 7 General Election, new registrations received in the mail, and updates to current King County registrations must be receive no later than Saturday, October 7.
Voters can mail an updated voter registration to King County Elections provided it is postmarked by Saturday, October 7. Voters can also conveniently e-mail or fax address changes within King County to voter.services@kingcounty.gov or fax to 206-296-0108. A drop box will also be available through midnight on Saturday, October 7 at the King County Courthouse Security Desk (enter the building on Third Avenue).
To register to vote in the November 7 General Election:
- You must be 18 years old by November 7;
- You must be a United States citizen;

- You must be a resident of King County.
Who cannot register to vote?
- Anyone who does not meet the requirements for registration;
- Anyone presently denied their civil rights as a result of being convicted of a felony.
King County Elections is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is located in the King County Administration Building at 500 Fourth Ave, Room 553, in downtown Seattle. New Washington residents or first-time voters have until October 23 to register in person at King County Elections or at any of the six King County Community Service Centers located around the county until close of business on Oct.23.

Please note: Late registrations will not be processed until after the General Election is certified on November 28, 2006.
