![]() March 4, 2005 King County 2004 Election Report Available online, at libraries and community service centersPostcards announcing how to get a copy of King County’s 2004 Election Report and how to register to vote will begin arriving at households throughout the county today. The postcard informs the public of the nature of the report and how to get quick access to copies of the report. The report provides a simple, factual account of challenges and successes King County faced during the 2004 elections, and includes an action plan for improvements to our elections process. In addition to learning more about the 2004 election cycle, the notification also encourages the public to register to vote, provides information on absentee voting, and how to play a role in the democratic process by becoming a poll worker. To view the report, visit www.kingcounty.gov/elections, call 206-296-VOTE or email electionsreport@kingcounty.gov to request a copy of the report by mail. Beginning Monday, the report will be available at most King County and Seattle Public libraries as well as the Enumclaw and Renton Public libraries and Community Service Centers located in Renton, Woodinville, Bothell, Kent, Sammamish, and Vashon Island. |
