Manual recount results scheduled for release Wednesday, Dec. 22

King County Elections expects to release unofficial results from the manual recount of votes cast for Governor tomorrow, December 22 by 3:30 p.m.

Results from the manual recount will not be certified until the Washington State Supreme Court issues a ruling regarding uncounted ballots that were not included in previous election results. In anticipation of a court ruling, the King County Canvassing Board is scheduled to meet on Thursday, December 23 at 3:00 p.m. to certify the final results of the manual recount.

The Elections Office will be closed Friday, December 24, which is a county holiday.
