Throughout my life I have demonstrated leadership and compassion. From my career as a teacher, to my work on the YMCA Board of Directors and the American Disabilities Administration Committee, I have worked to support people of the community.

As a member of the SeaTac City Council, I have continued to support children and senior services. For example, I am participating in an effort to create new affordable senior housing with on-site community services.

I believe the City needs to continue to support human services while maintaining efficient operations. As member of the Land Use and Parks Committee, I also want to insure safe parks and open spaces to improve our quality of life.

My wife and I lived in SeaTac for 38 years and enjoy spending time with our grandchildren.

Your vote to retain my position on the City Council is appreciated.

Because I have lived in the SeaTac area, for 57 years, and my family has operated a business in the SeaTac area, for 50 years, I became very active, in the community, including the McMicken Heights Improvement Club, with the honor of being elected as its president in 2002.

As the City of SeaTac was being formed, I learned to fight for my personal rights and the constitutional rights of the people in our new city. As a member of our City Council, I will use this knowledge and fight for the rights of everyone, especially the (Under Dog).

As a new council member I will have a (Open Door) policy inviting ALL people to bring their ideas, issues, concerns and complaints to the City Council and me.

I need your vote for a City government that is of the people and for the people.

Northwest native. Born and raised in Seattle. Graduate of Univ. of Washington. Air Force veteran. Retired airline pilot. Now ready to be a full time representative of the residents of SeaTac.

Vast improvements in our police, fire, parks, roads and senior services have been made but there are still challenges ahead. I want to help answer those challenges. My 40 years experience in the transportation industry will be used to forge a better, more cooperative partnership with the Port of Seattle. Development must not run rampant at the expense of citizens quality of life. We must all work to make SeaTac a better place to go to school, work, raise a family and retire. Children and seniors must be a part of the equation. If elected, I will always insist on fiscal responsibility.
