Thank you for the opportunity to serve you these last four years.

A new Senior Council, new community investments in youth, safe-school-walk routes, new parks -- I have experience improving our City. I and a supermajority of the Council developed disciplined and responsive budgets after many hours of detailed analysis and study. We made the tough choices for Kirkland's future.

I've worked hard on traffic and transportation problems both locally and regionally. As a result, we have a new Kirkland Transportation Commission working on improvements. The Leadership Institute honored my efforts with their 2002 Distinguished Leader Award.

As former co-chair of the Kirkland Alliance of Neighborhoods, you know I will protect and preserve our neighborhoods and your voice at City Hall.

Dave Asher's re-election is endorsed by community leaders, the Women's Political Caucus of King County, the Kirkland Professional Firefighters, the Kirkland Police Officers' Guild and Washington Conservation Voters.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve you these last four years.

I'm a lifelong resident. My family and I have invested over fifty years living and running our business in Kirkland. Our business reflects our desire to be an asset to our community.

While balancing the budget, we can reduce traffic through our neighborhoods, we can revive Kirkland's business communities, we can protect the benefits we provide our police officers and firefighters, we can improve the management of our parks, and we can ensure that the City doesn't pass the buck on its responsibilities to individual residents.

Health and safety is important to all of us, we need to work toward burying power lines and ensuring a secure water source for our future. When I'm elected, I will offer sensible, cost effective solutions to the challenges facing Kirkland. Together, we will enjoy our community, while preparing the way for future generations.

  Thank you for your vote.
