February, 2012
Dear Neighbor,
Arts and culture play an important role in making King County a great place to live. That is why I want to share exciting news with you about upcoming funding opportunities for arts and cultural projects. This year, 4Culture, which is King County’s cultural service agency, is offering five funding opportunities for projects related to arts, heritage and historic preservation. These grants are available to community groups, neighborhood associations, public agencies, and non-profits that have a physical presence in King County.
The deadlines for the grants are in February and March. 4Culture is hosting free, weekly public workshops across King County to help applicants prepare to submit grants. At these workshops, applicants can learn more about the application process and meet with 4Culture staff.
I’ve included more information below on the upcoming deadlines and the good work that 4Culture does throughout King County.
Sincerely,

Julia Patterson, King County Councilmember - District 5
