Schedule update for 2016 Comprehensive Plan
The King County Council's 2016 Comprehensive Plan review schedule has been updated and posted online. Under the new schedule, the Transportation, Economy and Environment Committee dates for plan review have changed. Additionally, the new tentative dates for voting on the 2016 Comprehensive Plan are as follows:

Potential action in TrEE committee on September 20
- Potential public hearing at full Council on November 28
- Potential final passage at full Council on December 5
Dates for in-person public comment have also changed, and are noted on the online schedule. Online public comments are also welcome at any time, which can be submitted from the home page of the Council's Comprehensive Plan website by clicking on the "Submit online public testimony" button.
Under the new schedule, the next TrEE Committee briefing on the Executive's transmitted 2016 Comprehensive Plan will be on Tuesday, June 7. The committee meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers on the 10th Floor of the King County Courthouse, at 516 3rd Ave, Seattle, WA. This item is currently scheduled as #9 on the committee agenda and will include discussion on the following topics:
- Chapter 7 Parks, Open Space and Cultural Resources
- Appendix C2 Regional Trail Needs Report
A written staff report on these topics will be posted to the Council's Comprehensive Plan website prior to the meeting. There will be an opportunity for public comment on any aspect of the 2016 Comprehensive Plan during the committee meeting.
