Thank you for your interest in the 2016 King County Comprehensive Plan and welcome to the King County Council's Comprehensive Plan email list!

On March 1, the King County Executive transmitted to the Council the proposed 2016 update to the Comprehensive Plan (Proposed Ordinance 2016-0155).

The plan has been referred to the Transportation, Economy and Environment Committee for review over the next several months prior to final adoption by the Council in mid-to-late 2016. Earlier today, Councilmember Rod Dembowski, Chair of the Transportation, Economy and Environment Committee, issued a press release announcing the Council's schedule for the 2016 Comprehensive Plan and opportunities for public comment.

The Executive's proposed 2016 Comprehensive Plan can be found on the Council's website, which also includes the schedule, list of public comment opportunities, and other information related to the Council's review of the plan. This website will be periodically updated as new information and materials become available. News, schedule updates, and committee agendas related to the 2016 Comprehensive Plan will also be provided via this email list.
