Vote count speeds along
King County Elections staffers are methodically counting absentee ballots that have poured in over the past three weeks. Despite losing two hours of production time early in the day, they had tabulated more than 117,000 ballots by the time the first numbers were posted at 8:15 p.m.
The first results from ballots turned in at polling places will be available at 10:30 p.m., with updates coming at 11:30 p.m., 12:30 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. Counting will resume at 7 a.m. Results available on the King County Elections page.
