Sandy McConnell: Monday morning

Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. -- King County Elections manager Sandy McConnell is one of two King County Elections employees to become nationally accredited. McConnell returned from the annual Elections Center conference in Dallas Aug.16 after receiving national accreditation as a Certified Elections Registration Administrator (CERA). The certificate program is sponsored by The Elections Center and Auburn University to provide college level instruction for professional growth and development of government officials in the elections and voter registration process. Bill Huennekens received his CERA certification in August 2007.
