10:40 a.m. Reports from the polls

From Des Moines: There was a rush of voters at 9 a.m. but then things settled to a trickle. Submitted by Lorna Rey

From Island Park: Things continue to be slow this morning. Some poll workers have gathered around a Sudoku Puzzle. We had only a couple of early birds catching the vote. Submitted by Sam Kennedy

From Ravenna: Between 7 and 9 a.m. we got approximately 30 voters. Very exciting, lots of young voters coming to the polls before school and work. Submitted by Lillian Hawkins
