DIMENSIONS: Site - 23.9 acres (includes building and one parking lot).  Building - 9.34 acres.  Roof - 7.85 acres.  Height - 250 feet.   Width - 660 feet (inside wall);  720 feet (encompassing outside ramps).  Volume - 67 million cubic feet within outside columns.  Total exhibit space - 190,400 square feet (Arena & 100 level concourse).  Parking - approximately 1,100 spaces on-site.

COMPONENTS:  Structural Steel - 443 tons.  Concrete - 52,800 cubic yards.  AstroTurf - baseball, 120,000 square feet, football 80,000 square feet.  Lighting - metal halide fixtures, 1500 watts each;  200-foot candles on floor.  Sound - 13 high-output arena speakers.  Video - Closed circuit television facilities;   DiamondVision replay screen with 500 TV monitors throughout the building.  Energy Plant - Natural gas heating system, capacity 49.5 million BTU's.  Air Conditioning, 4,122 tons of cooling capacity.  Restrooms - 18 women, 16 men, 7 first aid wheelchair/unisex.  Water Fountains - 87.  Executive Viewing Suites - 46 with buffet/bar, private restrooms, elevator/entrance and complete catering services.  Seating capacities - Baseball - 60,000.   Basketball - 40,000.  Football - 66,000.

2,403,310 people attended events and tours at the Kingdome in 1999/2000...bringing the 24-year total to 73,130,463 through January 9, 2000...1,100,320 fans attended Seattle Mariners games in 1999, bringing their 23-year total to 33,166,479...Since 1976 the Seattle Seahawks have played before 13,689,598...63,214 saw the 1977 National Football League Pro Bowl, while 58,905 witnessed the 1979 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, and 34,275 attended the 1987 National Basketball Association All-Star contest...The largest crowd to see a basketball game in the Kingdome was 39,457 - that happened on May 30, 1978 when the Seattle SuperSonics lost to the Washington Bullets in the NBA playoffs...The college basketball attendance record - 39,187 - was posted April 1, 1989 and equaled two nights later during the NCAA Final Four basketball championship...Soccer's brightest moment was April 25, 1976 when 58,218 watched the Seattle Sounders and the New York Cosmos in the first sports event held in the Kingdome...Two Rolling Stones concerts on October 14 and 15, 1981 attracted crowds of 69,132 and 68,028...The largest attendance for a specific event was 434,100 recorded at the eight-day Billy Graham Crusade, May 9-16, 1976, while the smallest ticketed audience was the 386 that attended the amateur Supercross, March 29, 1987.
