Become a Partner

There are several different ways to become a Solid Waste Division (SWD) Partner. The various programs are described below. Select the program that best fits your business or organization.

Become a LinkUp Partner

The LinkUp program provides technical and marketing assistance to selected Puget Sound area businesses in an effort to develop markets for reusable and recycled materials. LinkUp partners are businesses that process recyclable materials, use recycled materials in the products they make, or advance the sale and/or use of reusable items. Through these partnerships, King County Solid Waste Division is working to close the recycling loop.

Join the Take it Back Network

The Take it Back Network is a network of local electronics repair and resale shops, nonprofit organizations and electronics retailers that have teamed up to offer multiple locations for donating, upgrading or recycling used electronic equipment. The program provides residents and businesses in King County with reuse and recycling options for their used computers, TVs, cell phones and consumer electronics.
