Program assistance

A program representative is assigned to assist each school and district. Tailored to the needs of each participant, assistance includes helping schools and districts to:

  • Assess current conservation practices, with a focus on waste reduction and recycling during level one of the program
  • Make improvements, track successes and meet program criteria
  • Educate students and staff about conservation practices
  • Locate free technical assistance and funding sources in the areas of energy and water conservation, hazardous materials management and green building.
