Affordable Housing Technical Assistance Slam

King County Housing and Community Development Program Housing Finance Program, in collaboration with Green Tools and the State Housing Trust Fund are willing to offer technical assistance to non-profit developers to help them achieve the green building requirements on the State Housing Trust Funds Evergreen Standard Checklist by providing feedback and suggestions. We offer this in the form of a two-hour workshop called the Affordable Housing Technical Assistance Slam.

Additionally, we want to help you reach beyond the Checklist with additional green building design and materials in order to work toward building a project that will last for 50-100 years. At each meeting we would expect the non-profit developer to bring their development consultant, architect team, and general contractor (if one has been selected). For more information and/or to schedule a slam workshop for your project, please contract Karen Brawley at 206-263-9076 or karen.brawley@kingcounty.gov.
