Shoreline's 2012 Fall Recycle Fest Event has relocated to the Sears back parking lot.

Entrance Route
Drive north on Dayton Ave N.; turn right onto N. 160th St to access event. Do not enter event westbound on N. 160th St. Line ends at 160th & Dayton Ave N. No vehicles beyond this point.

The event is open to all Shoreline residents at no extra charge. Event flyers with additional details will be mailed to all residents.

To attend the event, please bring the event flyer that you receive in the mail or your driver’s license with a Shoreline address on it. Garbage and yard waste will NOT be accepted.


ITEMS TO BRING:
Concrete, asphalt and rock (No dirt or gravel)
Roofing shingles (Asphalt and wood shingles in old and new condition)
Carpet, sheetrock and porcelain (In dry condition and remove all non-porcelain hardware)
Scrap metal (Refrigerators, freezers, AC units, lawn mowers, ovens, stoves, hot water heaters, washers, dryers and barbeques. Remove all non-metal parts and drain all liquids.)
Electronics (Televisions, computers, monitors, laptops, phones, mice keyboards, printers, adapters, anything with a plug, etc.)
Plate glass (Window glass with or without frames, no mirrors)
Styrofoam blocks and packing peanuts

Restrictions

Do Not Bring:
Garbage
Yard debris
Tile & linoleum
Mattresses
Mirrors
Hot Tubs
Doors, wall paneling and cabinets
Tires
Hazardous materials, such as paint, fluorescent bulbs and tubes, propane tanks, household chemicals, cleaning products, pesticides, herbicides, solvents and thinners; commercial waste
Items with bees, hornets or wasps


Pick-up trucks or smaller vehicles only. Prior approval required for trailers by calling (206) 801-2455.

Due to the volume of material, only one trip is allowed per household. For permission to haul items to event on behalf of neighbor please call (206) 801-2455.

Items will be accepted until the bins are full, and the City reserves the right to refuse any item. No commercial loads. No dump trucks or flat beds.

Please take hazardous materials such as household chemicals; paint; cleaning products; pesticides; herbicides; solvents and thinners to the Household Hazardous Waste Facility at 12550 Stone Ave. N., Seattle. For hours and information call (206) 296-4692.
