Vehicles arriving with unsecured loads at public or private transfer stations in King County can be charged an unsecured load fee.

The City of Seattle Recycling and Disposal Stations provide recycling and garbage disposal to City of Seattle businesses and residents. These stations are operated by the City of Seattle Public Utilities (external).

North Recycling and Disposal Station (NRDS)
IMPORTANT: The North Recycling and Disposal Station will be closed beginning Jan. 20, 2014 as part of the City of Seattle's multi-year facility replacement project. Learn more about this project (external).

South Recycling and Disposal Station (SRDS)
130 South Kenyon Street
Seattle, WA
SRDS is located south of the First Avenue South Bridge and two blocks north of the old transfer station.
