Students at Global Connections High School in SeaTac were recognized in 2009 for the sustainability principles they applied to the student-run Hot Spot espresso stand. |
Earth Heroes at Schools are found throughout the county at all types of schools - public and private, large and small, urban, suburban and rural. Their good works for the environment include comprehensive recycling programs, stream restoration projects, native plant gardens and environmental curricula.
