Mariners help King County promote Green Holidays (YouTube)
At a media event at Safeco Field for the King County Green Holidays program, fruitcake pitching helped illustrate holiday waste reduction. King County EcoConsumer Tom Watson was joined by Seattle Mariners manager Eric Wedge, University of Washington softball player Kelli Seguro and local youth baseball players for the event, which also highlighted Safeco Field's impressive recycling program—from KOMO4 News.
