Project description

Construct a replacement/rehab bridge for the structurally deficient deteriorating log stringer bridge.

Why is King County doing this project?

The existing log stringer bridge is temporarily shored to keep the bridge serviceable. It is structuallry deficient and is narrow with only 14' curb to curb for a two way traffic with no traffic saftey rails. The bridge is located on a deadend road which serves the Alpine Lake Wilderness trail users, forest management groups, and other mining and quarry operations.

 
Status as of February 1, 2010

Bridge abutment comstruction completed. Truss is delivered at the site. Weather might not permit finishing the deck pour.
