Project description

The West Snoqualmie Valley Road N.E. project will repair the roadway and build a wall to stabilize the uphill slope to prevent future mudslides.

Why is King County doing this project?

This is a priority project identified in 2008 Vulnerable Road Segment Report, because the uphill slope is prone to mudslides, which damage the roadway, causing a long detour when the road is closed.
