Project description

The S.E. Mid Fork Snoqualmie River Road @ house #49040 project will remove existing deteriorating culvert and replace with new fish passable culvert including streambed gravel.

Why is King County doing this project?

This culvert requires replacement due to substandard and deteriorating conditions at the inlet and outlet. This culvert scores high on the County drainage priority list with a combined drainage/fish score of 293. Scouring is present at the culvert headwall and heavy corrosion along the invert of the entire pipe.

Project management phase:  In-House Construction

Status as of April 10, 2014

Construction is complete and the road reopened September 2013.
