Environmental InformationThe project is located in the Bear Creek Basin. Areas of wetland creation and buffer enhancement are being designed as mitigation for unavoidable project impacts on critical areas. Mitigation will provide an opportunity to improve wetland and riparian habitat in an area that is near the designated King County Wildlife Habitat network and Bear Creek. Low impact development techniques are being used to manage stormwater, which eliminated the need for a traditional stormwater detention facility. |
