Feedback needed on proposed
bus route changes
King County Metro Transit is
proposing changes to bus service in corridors that would go into effect in
September 2004. Input from the public is currently being sought on all the
proposed changes.
Metro Transit is considering a revised network of bus service for the
Delridge, White Center, Burien and neighboring areas. The changes would
include inter-neighborhood service, as well as links to downtown Seattle.
You can share your comments at the four upcoming
public open house meetings listed below, in writing, by email, or through
an online questionnaire. All comments are due by Friday, Jan. 30.

For the
Rainier Valley, Seward Park, North Beacon Hill, First Hill, and Capitol Hill's
Broadway district, changes are being considered that involve routes 7, 9,
39, 60 and 124. These changes would adjust bus routes to provide more reliable
and efficient service, and to respond to passenger requests for service
changes.
The deadline for comments on these changes is Thursday, Feb. 12. You can
share your comments at the seven upcoming
public open house meetings listed below, in writing, by email, or through
an
online questionnaire. The seven meetings are:
