Temporary bus stop closures will affect
Metro routes 209 and 214 in Issaquah

King County Metro Transit will temporarily close several Issaquah-area bus stops due to construction related to the new Sunset Interchange on Interstate 90. The bus stop closures will be effective with the start of service Friday, Aug. 8 through the end of service Friday, Aug. 29.

The closures will affect Metro routes 209 and 214. Those routes will still be able to use all posted stops on Front Street north of Sunset Way, but will not be able to use the following stops:

BUS STOPS CLOSED THROUGH AUG. 29

  • WB I-90 at Exit 20 (High Point/270thAvenue SE)
  • WB East Sunset Way at 6th Avenue NE
  • WB East Sunset Way at 5th Avenue NE
  • WB East Sunset Way at 3rd Avenue NE
  • SB Second Avenue SE at Andrews Street
  • WB Bush Street at Rainier Boulevard South
  • NB Front Street South at SE Andrews Street
  • EB Bush Street at Rainier Boulevard South
  • NB Second Avenue SE at Andrews Street
  • EB East Sunset Way at 3rd Avenue NE
  • EB East Sunset Way at 5th Avenue NE
  • EB East Sunset Way at 6th Avenue NE
  • EB I-90 at Exit 20 (270th Avenue SE)

Passengers should look for Rider Information signs posted at the bus stops. They can also visit Metro’s reroute webpage. Or, they can call Metro’s Rider Information Office at (206) 553-3000 on weekdays from 5 a.m. to midnight; and 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on weekends.
