King County equipment and auto auction
set for Saturday, May 17 in Renton

King County’s semi-annual equipment auction featuring dozens of cars, trucks, vans and pieces of heavy equipment will be held Saturday, May 17 at 9 a.m. in Renton.

The popular auction will be held at 3005 NE 4th Street, near the Renton Technical College. From southbound I-405: take Exit 4; continue to Exit 4B (Bronson Way); turn right on Sunset Boulevard to Northeast Third Street; then turn right (east) and proceed up the hill 8/10 mile, finally turning right on Jefferson Street. From northbound I-405: take Exit 4 to Northeast Third Street; turn left (east) and proceed up the hill eight-tenths mile, finally turning right on Jefferson Street.

A preview for the auction will be held Thursday and Friday, May 15 and 16, at the auction site from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and on Saturday starting at 8 a.m. Preview information is also available online, along with driving directions and auction terms.

Along with the usual assortment of cars, vans, SUVs, and trucks, this auction features three motorcycles, almost three dozen 18-passenger buses, assorted tractors, loaders and mowers, plus 20 refuse trailers. All items are sold "as is."
