Weekend closure scheduled for Elliott Bridge

The Elliott Bridge east of Renton will be closed this weekend for repairs. The bridge which crosses the Cedar River via 149th Avenue Southeast will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturday, April 26 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 27. Crews will be repairing the deck of the bridge during the closure.

Motorists should avoid the area during the closure. Traffic will be detoured at 154th Place Southeast to Jones Road east of the bridge and then on to State Route 169. The recently completed Cedar Mountain Bridge is now open to traffic and provides an alternate crossing over the river to SR 169.
