King County Road Services Division and the city of Renton are planning significant improvements this fall to the intersection of 108^th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 168^th Street. Currently, there are more than 9,000 vehicle trips a day through that intersection.

The project includes signal improvements, improved lighting, and adding curbs and sidewalks. There will also be some consolidation of private driveways that feed into the intersection. The goal is to make the intersection safer for all traffic.
