Free shuttles to the Seafair Hydro Races from Boeing parking lots starting Friday

Hydroplane fans have two ways to use King County Metro Transit to get to the Stan Sayres Pits this weekend: regular weekend bus service to Lake Washington, or free shuttles that will operate in a loop on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from three parking lots just south of the Boeing Developmental Center off East Marginal Way South.

Park free at the parking lots just off East Marginal Way South, by driving west on either S. Norfolk or S. 102nd Streets. Board free Metro Transit shuttles. Check Metro Online for detailed hours of operation and departure times for each of the three days. The coaches are signed "Shuttle" and "Hydro Races," and go directly to the Hydro Race site on S. Genesee St. at 43rd Ave. S. with no stops. The one-way trip is about 20 minutes.
