Benefits and Retirement Operations
Our group manages:
- Health and insurance benefits for active employees, employees on leave and employees who leave county employment (COBRA and retiree benefits)
- Flexible spending accounts
- Retirement system enrollment and information
- Deferred compensation plan enrollment and education
- The Law Enforcement Officers and Firefighters (LEOFF 1) Disability Board.
Our services include:
- Classes (new employee orientation, leave and exit classes and deferred compensation seminars)
- Benefit and retirement information and referral
- Direct assistance with everything from benefit, flexible spending account and retirement system enrollment to life, accidental death and dismemberment and disability claims processing.
