Public meetings on the future of King County parks

The Metropolitan Parks Task Force will hold two public meetings to gain input as it develops recommendations on how to fund King County parks.

In attendance will be Task Force co-chairs Gene Duvernoy and Bob Wallace, King County Executive Ron Sims, King County Councilmember Larry Phillips, King County Councilmember Carolyn Edmonds, and Task Force members.

Attendees will hear about the current fiscal challenges facing King County and what other areas of the country are doing to deal with similar challenges. Participants will have a chance to offer original ideas for the Task Force to consider and provide feedback on options currently before the Task Force.
