Friday, March 24: Election results update

King County Elections this afternoon certified the March Special Election, counting a total of 21,233 ballots. Final certified results are now available online.

Election result summary:

  • 18,294 absentee ballots tabulated to date
  • 2,939 poll ballots, of which 85 were provisional ballots

The next special election is scheduled for May 16, 2006, for voters in Des Moines, Redmond and Shoreline. All resolutions and ordinances must be submitted by March 31, 2006 to appear in the May Special Election.
