King County Elections today counted 3,130 additional ballots bringing the total number of ballots counted to 294,503 which includes 52,700 poll ballots.

Of the 601,968 absentee ballots issued, 242,505 or 40.29 percent have been returned.

Voters who cast a provisional ballot can check the status of their ballot online at or call 206-296-8683.

Election officials will continue to process and count absentee and provisional ballots daily through tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 30th.

Final results will be issued after the Canvassing Board certifies the results tomorrow Sept. 30. Results will be posted by 4:30 p.m.
