King County and the League of Women Voters hold town hall meetings to discuss 2004 Election Report and reforms

King County and the League of Women Voters will hold a series of town hall meetings beginning next week to provide the public an opportunity to participate in important discussions designed to improve King County Elections.

Election officials will discuss the 2004 Elections Report and lessons learned from the closest gubernatorial election in Washington State history. Dean Logan, director of Records, Elections and Licensing Services will discuss changes implemented this year to improve elections in King County.

The League of Women Voters will moderate the meetings and the public’s participation.

The town hall series, scheduled across the county, will kick off at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 29 at the Issaquah Valley Elementary School in Issaquah.
