My long commitment to Covington, where I have been a resident for over 15 years, includes currently serving on the city council and serving our younger citizens on Safe Kids Team, and the Covington Family Support Center - both of which keep kids involved in wholesome after school activities. My focus on the family comes from a combined family that includes 10 children and 11 grandchildren who all help fill my retirement time.

Other commitments to the community include the Covington Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, Covington Citizens Action Committee, Reach Out Covington, Covington Saturday Market, Youth Advocacy Program, representative of state county and local Headstart, Eagles and VFW.

I need your vote to continue to encourage economic stability and avoid the new Utility tax favored by my opponent. Being financially responsible includes appropriate levels of Police and fire personnel as we develop park and recreation facilities while avoiding new taxes.

39 years at Boeing - Manufacturing Manager.

My desire in holding this office is to bring balance to the council. Previous councils have dealt with land use issues etc., now it's time to make our city into a viable community by providing additional services for our citizens.

We need to partner with the school district by leveraging our limited funds to develop playgrounds and outdoor learning opportunities for our children and to develop partnerships with business organizations to ensure that our families can shop in their community.

We need to provide the best police and fire protection and to educate our citizens in disaster planning.

My goal is to work as part of a team to further improve the vitality of the city by representing the people in an honest and forthright manner.

I will work to represent the needs of the citizens and be open to input from all.
