King County Local Voters Pamphlet

  I would like to serve on the Vashon Island School Board for the benefit of our children, parents, educators and community. I will work hard to build upon the current successes of our School District to ensure it is a place where: each child receives an education that prepares them to achieve their hopes and dreams; our educators are provided the training and compensation required for them to excel and stay in their profession; and our school system is accessible, responsive and accountable to its customers.

  I have lived on Vashon Island for 27 years, have parented my children through the Vashon schools and have a child at McMurray. I have served on various boards in service to our community as well as being a youth sports coach in baseball and basketball. Providing our children with what they need to grow to their fullest potential is important to me.
