I have lived in the Woodinville area since 1980. For over 30 years I have been in the insurance business. I have been active in the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce for many years. My experience in looking for real solutions will help me solve the challenges we face at the Woodinville Water District.
As your Woodinville Water District Commissioner, I will work to keep our water rates low. I will be diligent in working to reorganize the water district.
I understand that solutions to our water problems are complex. We must find new water resources in the next few years to accommodate growth and changes in the current supply system.
I believe that as citizens we must do our part to give back a little of what this community has given to us. That's why I am running for this position and asking for your vote.

I am a professional in the water resource industry with over 20 years of experience. I have also served as a past Commissioner before leaving to manage the creation of the Cascade Water Alliance, a regional water authority which is now pursuing new, environmentally sound water supplies on behalf of the District and eleven other agencies. With that effort behind me, I now hope to return to serve the District.
We face difficult choices on water issues with long-term consequences. Our challenge is to continue to provide ample, safe and affordable water and sewer service without sacrificing the environment. As a public agency, we must also perform to the highest standards of customer service, professionalism and ethics. The District's professional and dedicated staff is ready and able to meet these objectives. As a Board member, I will help set clear goals and direction. I hope for your support.

I am asking you to vote for experience, knowledge and leadership on September 18th.
As your Woodinville Water District Commissioner I will work as an advocate for you, the ratepayer. I will be there when you need action to resolve a problem, work to conserve water or just voice your opinion. I will work to make sure your water bill is accurate, that inspections are done in a timely manner, and that we have a clean water supply that will meet our needs today, tomorrow and into the future.
These are challenging times for the Woodinville Water District. Droughts threaten our water supplies, growth demands more water, costs of operation are increasing and rates must be kept in check. My experience, knowledge and leadership skills are a great choice to meet these challenges. That's why I am asking you to vote for Tim Matson as your next Water Commissioner.

Options. A small word that means so much to all of us when making decisions that affect our lives. For me, it means the ability to control my bill by understanding and applying all types of technologies and devices; for the District, it would be ensuring new infrastructure with long-term durability and low cost.
With over 20 years experience in operational water and sewer systems, I pledge to explore options to provide the District and its customers a quality water source and customer service. Establishing a stable water source will be a top priority in the upcoming years. Optional water sources, water reclamation and completion of sewer extensions before septic system failures will also be a high priority.
With your support, I will use my experience, understanding and energy to make these options possible.
