What I offer taxpayers of the North Highline Fire District is a proven record of honesty, experience and dedication in public service. I will bring these valuable assets to the board of commissioners.

I have worked for over twenty years to promote salmon enhancement.

I am an army veteran of the Korean war and have been an area resident for 58 years. We have operated our family owned marine supply business for over 30 years.

I want to represent you as a North Highline fire commissioner. I will represent you honestly and will insure that your tax dollars are not wasted. I shall appreciate your vote. Thank you.

David K.
LAWSON

I have served the District as a Commissioner for nearly 12 years, during which time the District has provided quality fire and emergency medical services. I supported safety education in our schools and first aid and CPR training to our community.

I served for two years on the EMS Funding Task Force, which worked to preserve Medic One services at levels that our community expects and deserves. I also served on the Boards of the Washington State and King County Fire Commissioners Associations, working on other issues affecting the quality and costs of emergency services.

As Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, I provided leadership in structuring a successful bond issue which will provide the essential equipment and facilities needed to sustain services to the community for many years.

I ask for your support to continue as your advocate for effective fire and emergency medical services.

Thank You.

Dave
DUFF

Dave DUFF knows the North Highline Fire Department. He was co-chair of the recently successful fire-bond campaign, and his father-in-law was a volunteer firefighter. The Volunteer Firefighters Association unanimously voted DUFF as one of only seven honorary members of the fire department.

  • Duff wants to guarantee quality emergency services. Thanks to his work on the bond, updated fire equipment costs residents only $19 more a year per $100,000 of assessed value.
  • Duff wants money in the operating budget for fire-equipment replacement so future bonds aren't needed.
  • Duff believes in the public process and wants more public involvement at commissioners' meetings.

Dave DUFF has lived in North Highline for 23 years with his wife, Judy, and daughter, Deanna, who is in the honors program at the U.W. Four generations of his family live in North Highline. Elect DUFF - a leader who stands out from the rest.
