CITY OF CARNATION COUNCIL POS. NO. 04, 4 YR TERM

Joan Sharp

Thank you to the Carnation voters who two years ago entrusted me with representing you on the City Council. While I’ve lived in Carnation for 20+ years, seeing things from the ‘inside’ of city hall has given me new perspective. As your representative, I’ve done my best to be a good listener, see and understand the full picture, strive for cooperation, and make the difficult decisions when required.

The Council has faced some tough questions recently, sewer development being the primary one, and how to define and finance the quality and level of services our town needs a close second. The challenge of updating plans shaping future growth and development lie ahead.

I look forward to continuing to serve Carnation’s citizens by seeking the solutions that enhance the great sense of community we enjoy today and leave the right legacy for the generations to come.
