Mike Johnson

Bothell provides excellent police and fire services. However, there are other issues, which continue to threaten our quality of life. Among these are: pressures for high-density housing in residential neighborhoods, the proposed sewage treatment plant and the City’s Street Plan. To effectively deal with these issues, Bothell requires new leadership.

The foundation for my leadership in confronting these issues will be based upon my commitment for protecting our unique and strong family neighborhoods. I will also work aggressively to limit tax increases.

Professionally, I manage Seattle’s street design section, and have over 15 years experience in municipal public works. As a Bothell Planning Commissioner for the past 5 years, I have earned the reputation of being an honest, hard working leader for responsible growth and our quality of life.

My wife Cindy and I, our children, Rachel and Benjamin, are actively involved in youth sports, PTA and other community activities.
