I want Sammamish to become the most livable community in the
state. As council-women, I will work for a rate of growth that is right for us,
right for the environment and upholds the Growth Management Act and not private
interests. I support an ordinance to recognize the public right to petition. It
is vital to plan, fund and develop all types of public recreation. I will work
honestly with Issaquah and Redmond and the County to solve regional issues. You
can count on my full participation and attendance.
I worked as a real estate consultant and broker in
Massachusetts while earning an MBA. As a small business owner and 15-year
resident of the plateau, I have taken leadership roles in school, church and
civic activities. I am married with two daughters.
Vote for me and your voice will be heard. Thank you for your

As the first Mayor of Sammamish, it has been a privilege to
represent my friends and neighbors in getting our new city off on a great start.
Following my 3 terms in Olympia as your State Representative in the legislature,
I worked very hard the first years of our city in utilizing my experience,
integrity, and knowledge to make sure we started off successfully. I have lived
within Sammamish for 18 years with my wife of 23 years, Carolyn and our two sons
Pierce and Peyton, both in the Issaquah public schools.
Starting our city required knowledge of the intricacies of
government, the complexities of public policy development and implementation,
and a clear vision. I have the experience and qualifications that will continue
to make these positive contributions to the city council, I would be honored to
have your continued support to my re-election as Councilman Position 1.
