A narrated tour of King County International Airport may be arranged for groups of either school-age children or adults by calling 206-296-7431 at least two weeks before the tour. This narrated tour takes about one hour and covers both the history and the current operations of the airport, providing a unique “airside” perspective of general aviation businesses and activities. To maintain this free service, a minimum of 20 people are required for a bus tour and 10 people for a van tour.
Your group may also wish to visit one of these nearby aviation facilities in conjunction with its tour of the airport:
- Museum of Flight [external link]—Located on the southwest side of the airport. For information call 206-764-5700. Note: there is an admission charge.
- FAA Air Traffic Control Tower—Located on the west side of the airport. For information call 206-658-6400. Note: there are limits on visitor age and group size.
